AT&T is the First to Blink
It seems all of the cellular carriers have been playing a game of chicken with their unlimited data plans. They have all been trying to one up each other for some time now. But, AT&T has announced that they will no longer offer an unlimited data plan to new subscribers. So now rather than having an unlimited plan for $30 per month, consumers must choose between a 200MB plan for $15 per month or a 2GB plan for $25 per month. Only very heavy users should actually need the 2GB plan, making this a good deal for those users who have had an unlimited plan but used less than 200MB every month. These people will now be paying half their previous bill.
